Today is the 4th anniversary of Mom's death, I can't sleep.

People keep telling me that it gets easier as time goes on, but from where I stand it just keeps getting harder.

Most mornings it doesn't even feel like it's worth it to wake up.

I haven't had a parent die, but I've had two uncles die around my birthday this year and my dog put down a couple weeks ago, so I think I get the general idea of your pain.
Hang in there, and hold fast to the good memories of your mom.
